I think I’ve found my true love on ThaiLoveDate.com and really would like to thank those who created this website. I met Pui during in internet chat session, which led to us exchanging email and chatting on messenger. After a few months of exchanging many mails and enjoying many chat sessions, we discovered we have so much in common and have many similar interests. Gradually we began to show a romantic interest in each other on top of our already developing friendship. A few months ago, I had the chance to fly to Thailand to meet her. After we had a chance to meet our relationship continued to grow. We learned more and more about as time passed and slowly we began developing feelings for each other. After being single for several years, I’d like to thank you once again for this site and what is has done for me.

Wow, ThaiLoveDate! I never thought I’d be one to travel overseas, but after six trips to Thailand in the past year I’ve been pleasantly surprised to discover what I’d been missing. For a guy who hates airplanes, I’m becoming a regular customer! After months of email contact with my new friend, I was pleasantly surprised to find she speaks English surprisingly well, since she works in an office where she talks with foreigners every day. We had started using our webcams to talk to each other every night for months, and then I finally decided to book a flight to Udon Thani. My first two weeks overseas really opened my eyes to the rest of the world. My future wife, I’m so happy to use that phrase since we are now headed that direction, caught up with me at the airport. Almost instantly I felt she and I were going to hit it off in person. Now we wait. The process of obtaining a visa seems to take forever! I’m glad that finding a girl friend on ThaiLoveDate was easier than getting her a visa!

Was it only a year ago that I joined ThaiLoveDate? So much has happened, it seems much longer!. I had tried online dating before, but I didn’t really trust it. I’d barely used the service but decided to try again in 2012. I signed up for a one month membership. I discovered how easy it really is and within a few weeks I think I’ve found my one and only. My expectations had been so low, but when I started talking to Thanyalak I found her so charming. We met online in March of 2012. After four months I realized we had kindled a real friendship. I finally decided it was time to meet in person and see what she was really like. Traveling to her country fascinated me. In September, I took the long flight from Paris to Bangkok. Thai families are so engaging! After I met her and her family I knew I would want to marry her eventually. I finally proposed in late November and we plan on getting married early next year. The Thai people are so open and friendly and I think I’ve found my true love. ThaiLoveDate, without you I’d be a world away from my real true love, my angel.

Brent and I started communicating last summer. Our feelings for each other grew slowly and he decided to visit Thailand in November, 2012. Seeing each other gave us a chance to really share our feelings and soon, much to my pleasant surprise, he was planning his next trip to see me without telling me until he had the tickets until it was only a few days from his second trip. We felt like we were becoming close and I definitely had a spot marked on my calendar for when I would see him again. He came back to Thailand on January 15, 2013 and we were finally married in March. The bridge to Thailand is a long one, but I want to thank you very much, ThaiLoveDate for building this bridge.

Who would have known, 20 years ago, that one could meet the most wonderful man on a website? My parent’s generation would have never dreamed of it! Finding a foreign friend was so unexpected and everything happened so fast. At first, I thought, “This can never happen, but it might be fun to chat with a foreigner and practice my English.” I thought I might make a friend, but I was thinking the differences in our race would prevent a real relationship. I was so very wrong. On top of that, when I met Travis I thought our age differences would prevent us from becoming more than friends. I was wrong again! Meeting Travis in person opened my eyes and we had one date followed by another. Travis is so much older and wiser. I’m glad to have someone I can really communicate with.
